New privacy policy of the Bayer Pension Fund Switzerland
Dear insured members
On 1 September 2023, the revised Data Protection Act will come into force in Switzerland, on the basis of which we have adapted our privacy policy.
The Data Protection Act and the corresponding provisions pursue, among other things, the goal of improving the protection of personal data as well as increasing transparency in the procurement of personal data. The Data Protection Act applies both to private companies and to us as a pension fund.
The latter are considered federal bodies within the meaning of the Data Protection Act, as they fulfil a legal mandate by providing occupational benefits. In this context, the pension funds are legitimised by law to process the personal data necessary for the implementation of the occupational pension fund.
Further information can be found in the privacy policy of Bayer Pensionskasse Schweiz.
The privacy policy is available on the homepage of the Bayer Pension Fund Switzerland under the following link: https://bayerpensionskasse.ch/en/privacy-statement
The data protection declaration is also stored in the insured member portal.
The responsible handling of personal data and a high level of data security are of central concern to us.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Thomas Martin, internal Data Protection Officer at Bayer Pension Fund Switzerland (tel. +41 79 557 89 09 or at privacy_ch@bayer.com). He is in active contact with our service partner Kessler Vorsorge AG, which is responsible for the administration of insured persons, accounting and management of the pension fund.
Best regards
